Following the recent government announcement regarding weight loss medicine, check if you meet the eligibility criteria for Mounjaro based on the current NHS guidelines.

We are receiving a high number of enquiries about NHS weight loss injections such as Mounjaro® (tirzepatide). Although these medicines have been approved for use on the NHS, they are not currently available to everyone who would like them. NHS England is introducing access in stages, with treatment initially being offered to people with the greatest clinical need.
Who can have Mounjaro on the NHS? To be considered for NHS treatment, patients must meet strict national eligibility criteria. During the current rollout, this generally means people who have:
Can my GP prescribe Mounjaro?
Only patients who meet the current NHS eligibility criteria can be prescribed Mounjaro through their GP as part of the phased NHS rollout. If you do not meet these criteria, we are unfortunately unable to prescribe this medication on the NHS, even if you are willing to pay for it privately.
