World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week

It’s World AMR Awareness Week, 18th to 24th November 2025, a global campaign to raise awareness and understanding of antimicrobial resistance.

Both the NHS and health organisations across the world are trying to reduce the use of antibiotics, especially for health problems that are not serious.

The video linked below explains why antibiotics do not work on viral infections. When it comes to antibiotics take your doctor’s advice.
